Comstock Heritage Tyson Constantine Cross
Description
The Red Cross of Constantine has been the symbol of the Freemasons for centuries. In this belt buckle, the silversmiths of Comstock Heritage are honoring their fellow craftsmen by using this Masonic symbol as the centerpiece. A wide silver band frames the silver face decorated with hand-engraved scrollwork. Resting on top is the cross flanked by two crowns, all made of fourteen-karat gold. The smithwork on this is exquisite, with even the smallest space covered with intricate detail. As if that weren't enough, Comstock Heritage has added a diamond to each crown, and a ruby to the cross. The letters on the cross signify the Latin phrase In hoc signo vinces, which we'd like to think translates to With this belt buckle, you will conquer. Fits all 1.5-inch belt straps.
America's oldest western silversmiths, Comstock Heritage was founded in 1886. Since then they have been perfecting the art of taking metal from the earth and shaping it into something beautiful. The Stegman family has owned the business since the 1920s, making everything from badges for law enforcement to ornamentation for saddles. Using this storied history and expertise, the craftsmen at Comstock now specialize in one-of-a-kind custom silver and gold pieces. Everything Comstock produces is made entirely by hand, reflecting respect for the materials and care for the family legacy of Comstock Heritage.
