Pantaloni Torino

The Fassino family has been a fixture in the textile world since 1969, when Pierangelo Fassino founded a textile production company in Turin. Three generations later, the Fassino family company has seen a transformation from commercial fabric manufacturing to specialty clothing production.

Pierangelo’s son Edoardo Fassino is credited for much of this effort. He had a vision of creating high quality pants with unique character for the modern consumer—demanding traditional style with a contemporary twist. Pantaloni Torino was born from these efforts and launched in 2006.

Choosing the name Pantaloni Torino had great meaning for the Fassino family. They are proud of their three generations of history in the sartorial art; they love the heritage of their home in Turin and honor the city’s influence upon their craft. The name draws upon these roots while also setting its eyes on creative horizons. Pantaloni Torino’s goal is to reimagine the conventions of style, creating a new classic item of the male wardrobe.

Edoardo’s vision for the future was not limited only to style; he also oversaw Cover 50’s (PT’s parent company) becoming a listed company in the Italian stock exchange, a testament to their resounding success. On March 7th, 2013, Pantaloni Torino sold its one-millionth item.

PT enjoyed a particular advantage in the Fassino family’s established relationships with world-class fabric mills such as Barbera, Zegna, and Loro Piana, as well as an existing global network of designers. As a result, PT developed a strong reputation for quality and innovation, and rose quickly to one of the foremost brands for pants.

PT splits their products into two collections: PT01 for trousers, and PT05 for five-pocket jeans. PT01 trousers are an ascending brand—notably, they have been worn by U.S. President Barack Obama and Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne. The trousers are a diverse collection, but in general they project a maturely modern style. They do not seek to replace the classic men’s trouser, but rather to transform it with a unique luxury concept—“the best of Italian craft tradition, interpreted with a new creative force”. The Feleti and Vitale series are distinctive enough to carry a look on their own, yet they also pair excellently with more assertive items.

PT05 jeans introduce the classic look of denim ‘work pants’ to a contemporary style concept, re-interpreting the best that American and Italian traditions have to offer. The timeless look of iconic American ‘blue jeans’ is written into every aspect of these modern-minded five-pocket jeans. PT05 jeans feature 98% cotton, 2% elastin fabric, offering remarkable comfort without compromising the look of a true denim jean. They suggest a casually elegant look, and offer great versatility with any pairings.
