Asteroid Kiss Buckle

Raw diamonds and diamond slices are relatively new additions to our repertoire of materials. We love the unique visual effects they can create and the new avenues they've opened for creative design exploration. Named for the rare phenomenon of an asteroid 'skipping' across the outer atmosphere of a planet without being drawn in and burned up. An "asteroid kiss" leaves portions of the asteroid's surface charred and glassy. To create that effect for the Asteroid Kiss buckle, James Stegman carefully torched the edges and face of the sterling silver buckle before adorning it with 7 karats worth of raw diamonds and diamond slices. The result is a truly one-of-a-kind buckle with an incredible visual character.,
