Comstock Heritage Sutro Decour

This buckle is made on a hand-wrought sterling silver base with a fine rose gold border and a beautifully balanced floral pattern comprising 14k rose gold, 14k yellow gold, and sterling silver pieces. This is another fine example of James Stegman's mastery of subtle, organic designs. There is a delicate harmony in the pattern's asymmetrical flow, and the piece is somewhat deepened and ballasted by the dark, understated backdrop of sterling silver patterning.
